Juniors from all over Australia are invited to join the All-Australian Invitational Development Team (AAIDT).
You (or your child) may have nominated for selection in your state’s representative team for the Australian School
Orienteering Championships which form part of the Australian Championships Carnival from Sat 24th Sept to Sun 2nd Oct, 2022.
Perhaps you are awaiting the outcome of this process, or perhaps you were unable to attend your state selection races,
or felt you were not quite ready for the selection process but are keen to develop your orienteering.
Then this development team is for YOU!
• The AAIDT is open to all Australian school students at least 12 years of age at 31 December 2022.
• The AAIDT will be a composite team of students from various states and territories.
• They will stay at the same place as the schools teams and do almost all the same activities.
• They will compete in the same races too. Parents of these students are invited to play a role by coaching/managing
the team for all or part of the carnival.
There are no restrictions on the composition of this team within the ASOC categories.
