  • three amazing, and very different urban race venues
  • three full colour urban maps, all new or updated for these events
  • Sportident punching
  • your choice of courses and start times
  • fantastic prizes including a huge random prize draw for all pre-entries

Race 1 – Saturday October 8 (am) – Waverley Stadium. Enter here

Soak up the sporting history as you tackle a sprint distance course around this tightly packed residential area, the former home of AFL clubs Hawthorn and St Kilda.  The heritage-listed oval and stadium will be the centrepiece, but there is also a dense network of narrow streets, parks, playgrounds, lakes and boardwalks.

Race 2 – Saturday October 8 (pm) – Tatterson Park. Enter here

A short distance south lies a fascinating pocket of woodlands and wetlands, sports facilities, a unique bug-themed playground, and safe, quiet streets. But the main attraction is the notorious “tree maze” – will you emerge in the right direction?  The race format offers the chance to go head to head, on middle distance courses.

Race 3 – Sunday October 9 – Williamstown. Enter here

The 2022 Melbourne City Race will be an incredible mix of navigation, coastal scenery, maritime history, and the bustling village atmosphere that the area is famous for.  Williamstown is a short distance from the CBD by train, or an easy drive over the West Gate Bridge.  Afterwards, enjoy the local Sunday market, grab lunch in one of the numerous cafes or pubs, visit Scienceworks, or soak up the spectacular views across Hobsons Bay.

Want even more orienteering?
