ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED

More than 1050 people have entered for some or all of the events in the Carnival.

The team are now working on creating the start lists and bibs. Maps are getting the final tweaks ready for the printer. Helpers lists are being prepared. Portable toilets and tents are booked, caterers have been locked in, first aid arranged and everything else we can think of so you can have a fantastic time.

There are still some options that you can enter…

Carnival Dinner

The carnival dinner will be on the evening of 1st October at the Five Flags Hotel, Campbells Creek, 5 minutes from central Castlemaine. A piece of goldfields history with a great modern menu. Starting at 7 PM, although the pub will be happy to welcome you earlier! A $5 "entry fee", payable via Eventor, is required to secure your booking. Meals á la carte, and drinks from the bar. Vegetarian and gluten free meals available.

Mapping Meeting

A mapping meeting is planned for the rest day, Thursday 30th September, 2022. The meeting will be from 9am to 3pm at Woodend Community Centre Hall, Cnr Forest and High Streets Woodend. For details on the programme and to make a booking click below. Bookings close Sunday September 25.

Melbourne City Race Weekend

The 2022 edition of the Melbourne City Race will be in Williamstown, on a new colour map. Take a voyage of discovery! 2 warmup events on Saturday and the main race on Sunday October 10. Find out more about the 3rd Melbourne City Race Weekend at www.melbournecityrace.com.au

Enter On Day

Got FOMO? Don’t worry, you can still be a part of the excitement, action and spectacle of the biggest orienteering event in the Southern Hemisphere! At most events you can Enter on the Day (EOD). You’ll have a choice of two or three courses – Hard, Moderate or Easy. All you need to do is visit Registration, pay the entry fee (cash or card), and head to the Start, within the times listed for the day’s event. You will use the same maps and courses as the pre-entered competitors, and your splits printout will allow you to see how you went. All the details can be found at this link:

To cancel, please email entriesaoc@vicorienteering.asn.au, with details.

If you are eligible for a refund, that will be processed first, then we will cancel the Eventor entry for you.
